Combining a retractable design with thrombogenic synthetic fiber bundles, the Interlock Fibered IDC Occlusion System is designed to provide the physician with more control and precision during embolization procedures. Unlike pushable coils, its interlocking arms and delivery wire are designed to allow the coil to be advanced and retracted before final placement in the vessel, giving more control over delivery.
